Oasis Kathmandu Hotel

wonderful support during a challenging time is priceless

The hotel manager's quick response and compassion during a medical emergency. Spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and caring staff added to our joy.

Would like to stay longer on our next trip to Kathmandu. The units are updated, silent with AC, comfortable beds, as for instance. The location is very central, close enough to the main Thamel shopping area, many shops and other restaurants. The restaurant serves appetising Western food.

Everything was perfect, including exceptionally nice staff in a beautiful location with helpful staff and a kind manager. Its location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, close to the market place.

I almost thought Oasis might be an actual oasis, but when the faucet was broken in my room, I waited an HOUR for them to give me a claustrophobic room with no windows. How disappointing. Breakfast was wonderful, but the staff were too pushy, like they were expecting a tip or something. I just couldn't leave a good review.

Clean hotel, greatly enjoyed to be very close to different restaurants in Katmantu and Thamel area thanks to great and handy location...

By and large, it was decent base for sightseeing in Kathmandu, had much fun and met incredibly nice staff in a beautiful location with helpful staff and a kind manager.

The staff at Oasis are beyond really good, super friendly and caring towards all guests. The hotel is lovely with a spacious room and a big bed. It is conveniently located close to various shops and restaurants in Thamel. The breakfast spread is excellent, with tasty options to start the day.

Noise from a nearby nightclub can be disruptive at night.

For a unique experience, ask staff for recommendations on local eateries that offer authentic Nepali cuisine. Their insight can lead to good, off-the-beaten-path dining.

The room I stayed in was clean and spacious. Breakfast each morning was good, with a variety of options that kept things interesting. The staff excelled in their attentiveness. They greeted me with smiles and were proactive in assisting with my travel arrangements. On one occasion, I needed an upgraded room due to the darkness of my original one, and the manager quickly facilitated this. Despite this inconvenience, the staff's responsiveness made a positive lasting impression.

The comfortable rooms were a cozy escape after our adventures. The bustling area was like an oasis, with lovely greenery surrounding us. Our dogs were welcomed, and we appreciated the joyous music that set a wonderful tone each morning.

My children wished for more play areas outside.

We had a lovely time during our 3-night stay, especially enjoying the cozy lounge area and the beautiful little garden where we could relax. Make sure to ask for the extra tea they offer, it's a nice touch ☕

The staff were fantastic! They were really nice too help me when I twisted my ankle, the manager even moved me to a ground-floor room without me even asking!

Not the cheapest option, but honestly worth it.

We enjoyed the convenience of being near Thamel, with plenty of shops and restaurants right at our doorstep, while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere away from the main road. The breakfast had a wonderful variety.
